Custom Work

Mary welcomes the opportunity to create one-of-a-kind commissioned work. She has created many magnificant kites, banners, wall pieces, screens and pillows for both individual and public display.

Note: Each custom piece will be quoted separately. Prices below are to be used as guidelines only.

KITES
The two large box kites to the left were created by Mary and can be seen at the Albert Eye Research Center at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina. To learn more or for a quote on your next project, contact Mary at commissions@salomesilk.com.

BANNERS & WALL PIECES
Starting price for a 44″ x 6′ banner is $500 with $50 for each additional foot. Banners over 10 feet long are $75 per additional foot and can be up to 20 feet long. Price does not include sales tax, shipping or handling.

SCREENS
Screens are pieces of dyed silk stitched together and attached to a tri-fold screen. the back of each panel is lined with a solid piece of dyed silk. Total screen height is 6 feet; each of the 3 panels is 18 inches wide. $1800.00 plus tax, shipping and handling.

PILLOWS
Silk pillows serve as accents and complement upholstered furniture. Custom pillows range in price from $95 to $125 depending on size.
